Welcome to the Paddle Method Club! Follow the instructions below to get started and make the most of your experience!
- Once you have signed up and paid your annual dues, you will be redirected to your profile page. Click the Gear to complete your profile. Your profile will ask questions about activity time preferences, privacy preferences, etc. Please be as complete as possible! Full profile completion will equal reward points and let our matching algorithm find as many like minded friends as possible. You can also take a separate tour of our security features.
- Upload a cover photo and avatar photo simply by clicking on the blank photo areas.
- Request verification as part of our security system. This will allow you to access all the social features of the site!
- Time to get on the beach!
For your first activity, we’d suggest you go to the home page (click home from the top menu.) Here you’ll find tiles that take you to the Club Activity Bookings, Club Calendar, the Find Friends Feature, Saved Friends and Community.
A quick note: PMC has a notification system built in anytime an activity related to your profile has occurred. Please note, there is a notification bell that will show an alert at the lower left of your screen. You can also, during your profile setup, select email notifications.
Club Activity Bookings: Go here to take advantage of your discounts and rewards and directly book activities with Paddle Method. Remember, the more people who join you, the steeper the discounts.
Club Calendar:
- Click on an event for more details. If you find one you like, share it with your friends and invite them.
- Share an event by clicking the share an event link! Please make sure to give us plenty of details and we’ll publish it for you to share!
Community Hub:
Remember that event you just found or Paddle Method Activity you just booked? Talk to your fellow club members here! Invite people to join you, remember for most activities the more people that book, the lower the price!
Find Friends:
This will take you to our social matching feature and display potential matches for you. Find them, favorite them and direct message them. Invite them to an event….and maybe make a friend for life! Use the arrows to scroll through and the message icon to connect. Use the heart icon to save them to your…….
Saved Friends:
Saved Friends are a quick reference guide to everyone you’ve found to have similar likes and availabilities to you. They’re stored here when you click on the heart button from Find Friends.
Social:
This takes you to your social hub, with your profile, community group and quick access to Find Friends, Saved friends and some other special features. You’ll notice tabs listed with different features:
Activity: Shows your latest wall post and community comments
Meet Me: Shows your Social Matches
About: Gives you an editable statement about you and why you’re here
Posts: Lists your Community Posts
Comments: Shows any comments you’ve left in the community
Messages: A place for you to send or receive direct messages on the site. You can turn this feature on or off under profile settings.
Photos: A place for you to upload photos to display on your profile
Groups: Shows the latest discussion about Club Activities
Badges: Shows your achievements and points balance
